John Ledbetter, D.O. Graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Science and attended medical school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He holds board certifications in Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. He maintains memberships in the American Osteopathic Association, Obesity Medicine Association, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and American Academy of Functional Medicine.
Dr. Ledbetter has been in clinical practice in San Antonio, Texas since moving here in 2000. His interest is in preventive medicine and holistic patient care. “With early detection, screening, and thoughtful guidance, I want to assist patients in living longer fuller lives.”
His experience, training and continued education provides an opportunity to find root causes of disease and restore the health of the patient. “I want to re-establish the doctor patient relationship, without constraints of outside influences, and move the practice of medicine away from prescriber to provider.”
Outside of medicine Dr Ledbetter enjoys nature: fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and hiking. Spending time with family, getting exercise, reading and meditation are essential to the mind-body-spirit of optimal health, he promotes.
Stephanie Hawk, APRN, FNP-BC, graduated with a master’s degree in nursing from Simmons University, Boston, MA and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. With almost a decade working in healthcare, she enjoys providing patient education, health promotion, and nutrition counseling. Her focus is providing holistic primary care services to improve the quality of life of her patients.

Stephanie is certified in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, and she is a member of the San Antonio Nurses in Advanced Practice and the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. She is fluent in English and Spanish and loves working with people from all cultures and walks of life.
Stephanie loves art, good food, and traveling. When she’s not at the office she enjoys attending concerts, drawing, and reading.
Tracy Vega, CPC, CPB – Practice Manager
Tracy’s early career background began as a Respiratory Therapist. Through this experience, she learned the importance of managing patients’ needs and goals. She brought this experience with her when she transitioned into various administrative roles over the past 35 years. She understands developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything.
She is delighted to be working with Dr. Ledbetter and staff. She believes strongly in holistic medicine, how it works, and its benefits.
Tracy is a native Texan and graduated from St. Philip’s College. She is a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Professional Biller through AAPC, the American Association of Professional Coders. She is a culinary enthusiast, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking, friends, a delightful book and most importantly, spending time with her family.
